We are cognizant of the fact that development in Africa is a complex arena with multiple players within the development chain.
We take a unique approach of creating a culture of practice in use of knowledge and research evidence, policy, data and analytics in policy making, resource allocation and implementation as action response to a solution to development needs of Africa.
Our long bridge from knowledge, policy and research evidence to action provides leverage to sustainable development by connecting knowledge from research evidence, understanding of policy and existing scattered action responses and aligning them to development needs through actions.
We strengthen existing systems of development needs’ responses, capacity building, innovations and implementation of activities and development of systems in the areas of development governance advocacy, education, mentorship, life skills development for children, youth and by extension foster the environment within the wider community which they thrive.
We also advocate for the prioritization of evidence in decision-making processes as well as strengthen institutional and individual capacities of development chain participants in enabling evidence-informed development responses. We employ the following strategies in our approach:
